Hierarchy of Mexican food

A hierarchy of Mexican food, from lowest to highest:

  • Jack-in-the-Box or Dairy Queen 99 cent tacos
  • Microwaveable taquitos
  • Burritos sold at gas stations
  • "Mexican" food from north of the Mason-Dixon line
  • Taco Bell
  • Taco Cabana
  • Pappasito's
  • Generic Tex-Mex restaurant
  • Lupe Tortilla
  • Food sold out of a taco truck with a name like "La Mosca Loca"
  • Food actually made in Mexico

How did Pappasitos rank lower than "generic tex-mex"????

Yeah!! I love Pappasitos, especially the mixed grill (which probably isn't very Mexican). Mowgli says that the Mexican food in Greensboro is pretty awful, although his New England friends say it's better than what they have.

Where would Chuy's be on the list? Number 1? Or maybe 2nd?
